Larry Ferlazzo on Parents as Partners Monday Feb.21, 2011. Parent Involvement – what works and what doesn’t

by Lorna on February 18, 2011

Parents as Partners is thrilled to announce that Larry Ferlazzo, well known blogger and parent engagement advocate will be a guest on our show on Monday Feb. 21, 2011 at 9:00 PM EST (GMT-5)

You may remember Larry from his book “Building Parent Engagement in Schools“. If you haven’t, it is really worth getting a copy. Larry writes frequently in his blog about the issues that arise in the day to day operation of schools and he blogs his thoughts about topics such as the Parent Trigger and Grading parents on their involvement in school. I really appreciate hearing Larry’s in the hallways (aka walk the talk) approach to building positive working relationships between parents and teachers. Larry is also well known for this blog “Websites of the Day” and his book Teaching English Language Learners.

I know you will enjoy our show on Monday night. Please pass the word on!! Here are the details to send in your tweets.
