I am not sure that parents might have understood the implication of a blog post titled “twitter saved me $764.13″ and may have passed up the opportunity for some good parent professional development. In his blog post entitled “twitter saved me $764.13″ Dean Shareski describes the power of social networking and the value of the application “Twitter”.
So for all those parents who may think of social networking is a fad or bizzare human failing to communicate face to face you really need to read about Dean’s experience with his daughter and their Rogers cellphone bill.
Twitter is not just about what some one says they ate for breakfast. I can’t do the story justice – you just have to read it and then hopefully smile to your self and get an account.
